Jane: What are you going to wear to the wedding?
Kate: I don’t know. I thought about wearing my suit,
but I’ll have to buy new shoes if I do that. What about you?
Jane: I have no idea. I don’t know what I’m going to
do. II suppose I’ll buy something new, but I don’t know what. Have you bought
them a present yet?
Kate: No, but I know what I’m going to get them.
Jane: Really? What do you have in mind?
Kate: A painting of their village. A friend of mine is
painting it. It’s very nice and colorful.
Jane: That sounds great. I’m sure they’ll love it.
Kate: I sure hope so. Do you have anything yet?
Jane: No, I haven’t. Julia loves cooking, so I’ve
ordered a new cookbook for them. I just haven’t had time to pick it up
Kate: Oh, I’ll get it for you if you like. I’m going
to town now. Which shop is it?
Jane: That’s really sweet of you, but it’s OK, thanks.
I need to go to town and look for something to wear, so I’ll do it then.
